Ans. Grandmother didn’t want to keep Tutu because they had many pets at home at that time. They already had goat, several white mice, and a small tortoise.

Ans. The street
entertainer had three monkeys. Tutu was the smallest, but most mischievous. She
was tied up most of the time. The little monkey looked so miserable with a
collar and a chain that Grandfather though she would be much happier in our
home.
2. Why was Aunt Ruby shocked?
Ans. When Aunt Ruby saw Tutu was trying her petticoats, she was shocked. She could see a white bundle, with no face, jumping up and down on the bed. She was not even informed about Tutu’s arrival at home.
